Couldn't agree more! The first time I tasted one was a revelation. Juicy, crisp, sweet, with floral notes ... perfection! Whoever thought an apple could be EXCITING to eat?!!?!?
I am eating one now. The floral hint reminds me faintly of rosewater.
But...but...I love Red Delicious!!
Target sells cute little ones that are perfectly sized to be one fruit serving and are fabulous for lunchtime!
Arrrrgh! Not a Honeycrisp in sight in Burlington, Colorado. And prospects in the near future? Next to nothing. Can't wait to try one but won't hold my breath.
It's official. Burlington has Honeycrisps! And you're right. They're so totally yummy I could . . . could . . . well, they are just totally yummy. (This is a PG rated site, right?) Thank you, thank you for sharing this great little piece of information!
